-Tangerine Quartz predominantly comes from Minas Gerais in Brazil.

-This particular area is rich in Hematite, which is an iron-rich mineral.

-The iron rusts in the nearby water, then the rust bonds to the surface of Quartz to create this variant’s signature color. Some only have a slight orange hue while others are closer to fiery red.
